This patch would be perfect on a ballcap.
THIS is the proper configuration of the American Flag.
If you were to display a flag, properly on a wall, you'd use one of
this display with the blue field to the left.
This one, when doing the, so-called, wind-swept method would go on
the LEFT arm's sleeve.
It wouldn't be improper for this type to be (also) on the right arm--
it just would not be "windswept" (like the Army's [reversed] patch).
If you wanted one like the U.S.Army wears you would buy a DIFFERENT
one that has the blue field to the right. Such as this camo-type:

Or buy a set of both:

I wanted a small high quality American flag emblem to put in the rear window of my car. It looks very nice and I love the gold border. Highly recommended.
* 2-10-2012. I'm back for a second time, for two more. The gold around the edge (Armed Forces styling) gives these a tremendously sharp look. My father and grandfather were both in the US Army. Our armed forces are presently engaged in a harsh environment and their courage is stunning to me. The flag needs to be seen. Just a thought.

the american flag embroidered patch gold border USA united states of america military unifor emblem was a great purchase. i used it for decoration on a homemade purse for myself. it is very decorative and adds a nice touch when i carry the purse to the american legion.

The item shipped quickly, actually a day before the estimated time. No packaging issues. The quality of the patch is about 5 times better than what I expected. It's colors are bright. The bold gold boarder goes well with the red. Overall GREAT product. Highly recommended.
